Nalaka's paintings, done in the transparent medium of water colours, show different aspects of the city of Kolkata. The paintings portray Kolkata in the rains, a scene with glistening tram tracks, a narrow lane in which old high buildings seem to be meditating. In short, the diverse moods of Kolkata have been evocatively represented. The exhibition received a good number of visitors. The exhibition was very well covered by the local print and electronic media.
