Registration with FRROs (Foreigners Regional Registration Officers) in India is required within 15 days of arrival in India , in case the visa is valid for more than 180 days, irrespective of the period of stay. A foreign national is required to register only once on first arrival in India during the validity of each visa. Normally, Senior/Superintendents of Police of districts are designated as FRROs, in case there is no independent office.
