Applications for Ceylon Estate Workers Education Trust (CEWET) Scholarships

Applications are invited for the scholarships for the children of estate workers who are residents on estates, to be awarded by the Ceylon Estate Workers Education Trust (CEWET). The scholarships are available for G.C.E. Advance Level and university courses. Students who have passed G.C.E. Ordinary or Advance Level examination with either Mathematics or Arithmetic at the G.C.E ‘O’ Level examination, and below 25 years of age are eligible to apply.

Application forms are available at the High Commission of India, 36-38, Galle Road, Colombo-03 and the Assistant High Commission of India, No.31, Rajaphilla Mawatha, Kandy.

Duly completed forms should reach the Honorary Secretary, CEWET c/o High Commission of India, Colombo-03 o n or before 10th May, 2008.
